Fabulous movie series which, without giving away a spoiler, tells the tale of an almost 12 year old orphan boy(Remy)whose life is changed when he is sold to a travelling one man circus master. His journey and travails are dramatically portrayed by a young Fabrice Josso (with an excellent English voice-over in the version I watched).
I saw this series as I child, and insisted that my parents tape it - as a matter of fact I gave them hell when they once forgot to program it - and for a good reason!The first time I encountered "Sans famille" or as it is known in Israel "Be'eiyien mishpacha" was when Israel radio turned it into a radio series in the late 70's.
