Terrible, chronicling the biggest cowards in aviation, you are the reason why chopper pilots aren't officers.

This documentary was eye opening and revealing about the reality of war. And the hater(s) who gave the disgustingly bad reviews probably never saw a minute of war.

Above the Best is a documentary that tells the story of missions during the Afghan War in 2006, and how Apache pilots support ground troops in those times of need. I enjoyed how the film immerses the audience in the story with the use of raw footage that the soldiers recorded themselves.

I found above the best to be an unprecedent cinematic experience. A documentary of notable interviews with Americas heroes of valor, US Military Veterans.

Greetings from the darkness! (just kidding) This isn't so much a documentary but a telling of some instances that define what it really is like to be at war.

Above the Best shows us a soldier's most perilous fear: the fear of failing to protect those you are there to support. The quick decisions demonstrated by the featured soldiers held such a high importance in "Above the Best.

This is a horrible film about a National Guard Apache unit. They were my unit's replacements in 2006 and they were a horrible unit.

The amazing war documentary, Above The Best, is not only a unique look into the lives of soldiers in combat, but a story of courage and unity. The film tells the stories of soldiers and pilots and their experiences in the Korengal Valley through talking heads and footage that they personally took while in combat.

Of all the attributes that make Above the Best an astounding war documentary, I think the unique editing style really sets it apart. The film features archival footage from the war in Afghanistan paired with interviews of the soldiers who recorded and lived through the battles depicted in the footage.
