Retired from the L.A. Sheriffs around 1978 or 1979. He went to work for Farmers Insurance around 1981 or 1982 and then retired from Farmers Insurance in 1993.
Was a Honolulu Police officer before he was a actor. He ended up in Missions Hills, California in 1958 and became a L.A. Sheriff. He got the role of Lt. Danny Quon in Hawaiian Eye and kept his Sheriffs job. The series was produced in the Burbank Studios.
