Maria is the the anchor/host of "Good Day LA" on FOX 11 Los Angeles. She and Steve Edwards have been anchoring the show together since 2012. Previously she was the host of "LXTV 1st Look" on NBC and an Entertainment Correspondent for TV Guide Newtwork's "Hollywood 411". You can also catch Maria live on the red carpet for all of the major award shows for TV Guide Network. She was a host/reporter for LX New York on WNBC4, where she covered all things NYC, including Broadway, fashion, fitness and more. At LX New York, she initiated "Maria's Pet Project" and helped find homes for hundreds of homeless dogs. Maria quickly gained "web celeb" status when hosting daily web show, "The 9" on Yahoo, and "PopTub" on YouTube. Maria was also an MTVU VJ. In addition to traveling across the country broadcasting from hundreds of college campuses, she hosted/wrote MTVU's weekly music show, "The Freshmen". Maria has also contributed to _"Access Hollywood" was on maternity leave. She graduated from Syracuse University's Newhouse School in 2003. She lives in Los Angeles, CA.
She and her husband, Joshua, gave birth to their 1st child, a daughter Grace Louise on December 31, 2013.
