Lucie Bílá was born in small village Otvovice near Prague. Although she was singing for her whole life, first it appeared she would be a dressmaker. But then some man sent her record to Prague radio and she became singer, according to contest Golden Nightingale, most favourite in the decade. Her movie roles were small at the beginning, she portrayed bad or dirty girls. She appeared in a fairytale _Princezna za mlejna .
