He and Brooke welcomed their first child, a daughter named Riley, in 2004.
Playing for the Oakland Raiders in 2004. In 2004 signed on as a back-up quarterback to Oaklands starting quarterback Rich Gannon. Will take over starting quarterback position in October 2004, due to an injury that sidelined starting quarterback Rich Gannon.
