Biography

Boris Chirkov was arguably the most popular film celebrity in the 1930s and 1940s Soviet Union, since he starred in the leading role as Maxim in the acclaimed film-trilogy by director 'Grigori Kozintsev' to have a State Funeral for the most decorated film star in the history of Russia; the permission was granted and Chirkov was laid to rest in Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow, Russia.
