Oh, yeah. This book in conjunction with my class was great.
Did not have the cd like promised, did not look like the picture on amazon.com, but it still had the same info like other 6th edition books.
This book is fantastic. If you're interested in learning programming, this is the way to go.
What was in the description was what i got and what i wanted. It had the CD, but im not certain if i needed it or not, the book was in fairly good condition (a little beat up on the back, but nothing bad), and it arrived one day after the minimum estimated arrival time.
As C++ programming is completely new to me, I feel like our teacher is pushing us too fast. But I'm glad we have this particular book.
This book is really quite understandable, even to someone like me who has never programmed in their life! Of course, I have been around people who program before, so it isn't a real surprise.
Helpful for the beginner. Explains the theory and coding pretty well.
While I own "Starting Out With C++ 5th edition", I do not own this one. However, the idiot who gave the book one star based on the store they bought it from had to be counter acted.
