I have read this book twice and by now I have underlined something on almost every page. It has really challenged me to go deeper in my journey with God.

Thomas Dubay is a wonderful author and guide to the spiritual life. He gives clear, concise directions and guidelines on how to make your way through intricacies of mystical prayer.
Anything written by Fr. Dubay is worth reading.
This book reads more like a roadmap and guides it's readers out of spiritual malaise, complacency and indifference and into an examination of one's soul, conscience and relationship to others, to God. If you desire to remove the stumbling blocks to God, here's a great tool.
The title of this book is somewhat misleading. It's really an exhortation to give up venial sins, and a big picture "how-to" manual of how to go about it.
A book I will read again, explaining the need for deep conversion and deep prayer in our lives. My plan is to come back to this review at a later date after I try to implement the ideas this author has shared.
