Bought this book for an assistant who wants to learn Portuguese. This is the book that I used when I was minoring in Portuguese in college.
The book was sent quickly, but the condition of the book didn't meet my expectations. I know it was used, but the description of its appearance and its interior was definitively NOT accurate.
I can`t give an objective opinion about this book because it is my first and the only one Portuguese book. It`s a good book for those who learn Portuguese together with a teacher.
I've seen what the publishing world has to offer for materials teaching Brazilian Portuguese. Not a lot of teaching materials are very practical.
Brazil Lingua e Cultura is a solid Portuguese textbook for English-speakers. It is also very inexpensive.
This third edition of Brasil! is a huge improvement over past editions.
This review is about the 3rd edition. I am currently using the book in my 101 classes.
