The book and the dvd work well together.
A great deal book and a DVD for a great price.
Honestly I would give it a 3 and a half. It is well done for the most part ,but certainly not note for note , however it does give good tab , though and a true fan can certainly use it as a useful tool for learning some of Keith , and Taylors guitar.

I always ignore lessons that use the word "Easy" because they are usually created for beginners and are too easy for anyone but a beginner. I bought it because I thought that I might get something from the backing tracks.
If you have the patience to go into G and E open tunings then you can see how the stone got such interesting sounds with these hits. If you past the intermediate stage then these stone arrangements should flow like butter.
It's only rock and roll, but i like it. a great songbook of tabs, notation, and a dvd with video lessons, also with TNT 2 software, a great practice tool.
Unless you're willing to re-tune your guitar for every individual song, this book is a waste of time. Maybe Keith Richards can have multiple guitars set to different tunings with him on stage, but I only find books useful if they tell me how to play it on a guitar with standard tuning.
This DVD is an excellent guide to learn some of the Stones early hits. The teacher on the videos slowly goes through each part of these songs, breaks them down and explains what is going on.
This book and application is a lot of fun. You can isolate the drums, guitars, voice.
Covers 10 classic Stones songs in detail. Between the book and the video, everything is covered on how to play these tunes.
This isn't a book for beginners, but you only need a little skill and time to be playing with the Stones. This book is lot's of fun, and video instructions are easy to follow.
DVD with hands on demonstration is very good.TNT software is fun to use.
