They may not mean to make you blush, but they will.

Last year, I read this book and found it to be a completely engaging book of essays. Usually, I am increasingly suspect of anything which may fall under the umbrella of "chick lit" but this was laced with good moments and really relatable humor for anyone in their 20's or 30's.
Full disclosure: I am acquainted with the Brunette. That being said, I wasn't surprised at how fun this read was.
A fun collection of essays that brought back some awkward moments of my own and made me laugh, cry and cringe at times. Whew, the memories make me glad that I have been married for over 15 years and *most* of the awkward moments with my man have already happened.
This was a fun read, with quite a few 'laugh out loud' funny parts! When I'd start laughing, those around me would look at me, I'd read them a quip...
I received a free copy of this book through Goodreads giveways. It contains several short stories.
This is one of the funniest pieces of prose I've put my hands on lately. I like to switch between reading something serious and something funny, and this book definitely tickled my funny bone.
I wasn't sure I would like this book. I thought it might be a little too Chelsea Handler-ish for me (and I really, really despised [[ASIN:1582346186 My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands]]), but I was pleasantly surprised.
This book is a collection of essays about "what it is to love & lust as young women stammering through the perils of the modern world." Most of the essays are about dating, but Shannon is married, so some of them are about her husband.
I was told by a friend that this book was a must read and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it! I read it in a couple of days and kept my husband awake at night as there are definitely laugh out loud moments.
What a fun read! Growing up in the 'Sex & The City' era, who can refuse a fun-loving account of encounters with the men gone horribly wrong?
I'm so happy I was recommended to this book, it's fantastic. I felt like I knew these ladies, and we were chatting over coffee!
A friend of mine at work recommended this book. From page one I knew I would love it.
Awkward Moments with Men was a surprisingly hilarious, yet somehow self-exploring book that made me laugh the whole time. The authors did a great job of being witty, yet reminding the reader of their own awkward encounters with men.
Before I began reading it, I skimmed over some of the reviews who claimed this book made them both laugh and cry. Being one of the most fussy and demanding people when it comes to anything in the realm of `entertainment', I quickly dismissed the claims of these leaky eyed people.
I couldn't put the book down. After only being a few chapters in, I had already loaned the book to 3 of my friends (I think the story about following the girls gellie shoes around middle school won me over).
