Originally Connery meant to do an autobiography ,but upon finding out that if he did his ex-wife Diane Cilento was going to go public with allegations that he beat her during their marriage. So, instead, you get this boring tome.
Wonderful, quirky book about Scotland and the Scots. It tells about Scottish arts, architecture, history, literature, engineering etc.
Sorry 'Uncle Sean' but it was nt as engaging as I hoped. A general collection of interesting facts and quotes on Scotland and her inhabitants, but there was an element of disjointed links and borders on jingoism in parts.
Loved this book. Its is definitely not just a book about Sean Conner.
