Bean there, done that

Here's a tip: if your ex-husband's mistress-cum-missus. asks for your help in proving that he cheated on her while he was married to you, just say no.And you most certainly should not invite this new missus.

Bean There, Done That made me by the next Maggy Thorsen book in the series.~author and illustrator JD Holiday.
"Here's a tip: if your ex-husbands mistress-cum-missus asks for your help in proving that he cheated on her while he was married to you, just say no. And, whatever you do, don't invite her in.
This is my second Maggy Thorsen mystery, and again I found it to be a pleasant, easy read. The author has a nice writing style.
I REALLY LIKE THE MAGGIE THORSEN BOOKS. THE CHARACTERS ARE VERY REAL AND LIKEABLE.
Bean there, done that By Sandra Balzo is the 3rd book in the Maggie Thorson mystery series. Maggie is approached by her ex husbands Ted's current wife to prove that he has been cheating, but when she disappears and then a body is found, Ted is accused of her murder.
Sandra Balzo never disappoints. Her character, Maggie, is so much fun and you will be kept guessing until the very last page.
When Maggie Thorsens ex -husbands accused of murdering his trophy wife Rachel- He asks Maggie for her help. Maggie and Rachels brother were the last people to see her alive.
Bean There, Done That is the third and best book, so far, in the series. The plot can be partially summed up in the first paragraph: 'if your ex-husband's mistress-cum-missus asks for your help in proving that he cheated on her while he was married to you, just say no.

A quick-paced, engrossing read, this book was wonderful. Highly recommend!.
#3 Maggy Thorsen coffee house mystery set in the Milwaukee suburb of Brookhills. Maggy is somewhat aghast when her ex-husband's new wife approaches her with allegations that Ted is cheating on her--and was even cheating on her when he was cheating on Maggy with her!
In Bean There, Done That, Maggy Thorsen becomes involved in the disappearance of her ex-husband's new wife, Rachel. Before she disappeared Rachel had asked Maggy to help her determine if Ted, that's Maggy's ex, was cheating before they got married.
Really good, but a little disappointed with Pavlik's attitude about Maggy's getting involved in the murder investigation and for jumping her for not telling him everything she knew the instant she knew it... Not too realistic to expect that and then be all pissy about it and threaten to end their relationship over it.
