I suggest you read both "Red Carpets and Other Banana Skins" and "Vanished Years". Both are autobiographical.
I've read both of Rupert's books and this is, by far, the better of the two. Enjoy the journey, I did.
Mr. Everett shares his life with sharpened wit and often brilliant insight.
This book is about Rupert Everett's many encounters with famous people over the years. It is very thought provoking as he does not hold normal accepted ideas, but it is very revealing about his life as a gay man and the pressures that any famous person faces and the subsequent temptations I really loved it.
I love how Rupert Everett writes, both fiction and non. He's honest, witty, observant - quite devastating on all counts - and so very funny.
Will now go and wikipedia the people I don't know. Rupert is a fascinating character.
