a guide to responsible conduct in research

The scientific research enterprise is built on a foundation of trust. Scientists trust that the results reported by others are valid. Society trusts that the results of research reflect an honest attempt by scientists to describe the world accurately and without bias.

It was quite informative.
An not sure how to rate this book, I have a love and hate relationship with it. I found some useful information in it and I thought some other information could have been more simplified.
Great book, met all my expectation.
This book can be downloaded for free from National Academy Press if you are in school and need this one.
A very interesting but complicated book to read, especially for beginners. I also received it within time for my course.
It is a useful book but I have not used much in my course but hoping to use much in my later courses or research study.
This is an excellent brief summary of the ethical obligations of scientific researchers. I have assigned it as a text in a graduate seminar that I teach.
This was a required text, but not something we use much at all. Provides some nice examples and questions to get you thinking.
I got what I was expecting, in a minimum amount of time, just how I needed it. I definitely recommend it.
This is a good introduction into the ethical demands of conducting scientific research. We read this our first year of graduate school and I recommend it to other graduate students and practicing scientists.
