AWESOME!.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the stories. I can find better fan fic for free online.
Just like the episodes. Really good writing and editing.
If there's one thing I miss more than this amazing 1995-2001 tv show is the tie-in merchandise: novels, comic books, toys, replicas, clothing, heck even jewelry. There hasn't been much coming from the Xenaverse since the show's cancellation-except for a 2011 t-shirt sold at Hot Topic and a 2012 calendar...
I really enjoyed the stories in this book and I am glad there are authors out there that are willing to continue the adventures of Xena and Gabrielle. The seller of this product was fast about the shipping and the book was in excellent condition when I received it.
I really enjoyed this collection of Xena stories and as a Herc fan,I really appreciated the references to him throughout many of them, although I would have preferred an appearance or two by the handsome demigod. In any case,if you're a Xena fan,you will love this book!.
17 stories by some of the most well known (and not so well known) authors, all set in the Xena universe. Adventures, Gods, magic and wrestling.
This is a very good book, i couldn't put it down. there are lots of short stories in this book, so it doesn't get boring.
Like many Xenites, I bought this book to read the work of fanfiction bard and series screenplay writer Missy Good, and I wasn't disappointed: Missy's stellar final story in the anthology made it worth the money. However, I was thrilled to discover that the person picking the anthology entries and the writers submitting the stories were just as spot-on, dead center in their portrayal of Xena and Gabrielle as the best screenwriters and fanfiction bards out there.
I wasn't ready to let the series go yet. Thankfully Gabby and Xena lived on in this collection of short stories.
If you're not quite ready to let the series die, you need to buy this book!.
Ok I originally gave this 5 stars but that was based on the show, but in truth I wasn't impressed. Some were better than others but for some reason it didn't seem authentic to me.
This is a reasonable start in my effort to read through the Xena fiction-verse. I enjoyed this book; not as much as I wanted to, but enough to continue with the quest.
