This book is so wonderfully and beautifully written that I cried and smiled throughout. It dealt with domestic violence such a sensitive subject matter but it also dealt with self-esteem, forgiveness, love and basically taking a chance on life and all the goodness it has to offer.
This was a beautifully written story about love, life, and the second chances we're sometimes blessed with, if we're brave enough to risk it. The main character, Alyssa, is in an abusive marriage, that has been steadily getting worse until the day she decides she has to leave, before he winds up killing her.
