She describes her Jewish upbringing and then proceeds to take the Name of Christ in vain. Trashy!
Two stars for the attempt, disorganized, lacking in depth, more name dropping, funerals and name dropping. Would not recommend for any reader looking for substance and style.
Great writing great reading.
Great read! Love Lauren Bacall.
Laren Bacall's recent death made reading and rereading this autobiography even more meaningful. What an incredible life she had!

Interesting life. A good read.
Excellent.
I am reading and savoring this story. Ms.
Lauren Bacall has lived a life that would be the envy of many of us. First married to Humphrey Bogart and later to Jason Robards, she often lived in Hollywood's fast and slow lanes.
I can't put this book down?....Lauren is so..
I enjoyed this book but I judge a person by how they treat their family. In this judgment, I found her lacking.
I have always loved Lauren Bacall on the stage and in the movies and reading this made me feel very close to her.She has a way telling her most interesting life's story.
This book was an enjoyable trip down memory lane with one of Hollywood's great ladies. Straight, outspoken and blunt just the way Ms Bacall has always presented herself.
