Not what I thought it would be.
This book is good for learning new techniques and for a quick reference. I use it often enough to keep it close at hand.
To be honest I was expecting more interesting projects in this book than what was shown how to do. Some of them are pretty nice but others are just kind of tacky.
The projects in the book are lovely, but it is simply infuriating when one of the projects shown on the book's cover does not have its pattern and instructions included in the book. In this case, the necklace photoed in the bottom row, second from left, has no pattern or instructions included; and this particular necklace is the very reason I bought the book!
...to pursue the many projects that are brewing after getting this easy to follow, beautifully photographed book.
I am a new beader, so this is new for my growing library of beading books. The projects look to be well explained and seem to go from beginner to advanced beader.
Excellent book for a beginning "beader" like me! Great instructions are enhanced by clear illustrations!.
I was excited to buy this book per the other remarks regarding it. I had not seen the book in person and decided it was worth it because I had seen the blue piece with the pearls made up and it was lovely.
I have to agree with all the other reviews - an excellent 1st book for beginners to learning stitches with the added bonus of good modern designs. Includes exact details of colours used and sizes of each finished project.
I received this book today with great anticipation and I was not at all disappointed. The designs are as fresh as they are beautiful and lend themselves to be modified to fit your own tastes.
This is a GREAT BOOK!!!! i am a beader for over 12 years now and this book is wonderful for those wholove seed beading.
All of the many projects can be made in less than 2 hours. The book combines the best of Japanese and American/English instructions.
