Beforehand:I had been up for two days with no sleep doing drugs all night long. I had been to an NA meeting before, but still did not believe I was an addict because I had not hit rock bottom.
This book is not well written at all. I loved the story line, but the quality of writing was very poor.
I found this book to be the best I have read in the subject of addiction. I have bought several copies to give to friends and they have passed them on to others struggling with addiction of their own or a loved one.
Great book. Written in a diary form, back and forth between what the mother is experiencing and at the same time what the daughter is experiencing.
One of the best books ever! It is a must read, so we'll wrirren.
This will give anyone struggling with a loved one who is of course, and give them hope that they can change.
It is a touching story a families struggle with addiction. I would recommend it to anyone who is going through this or knows someone going through dealing with addiction.

OMG! This is an amazing book.
Everyone who has a loved one strugglingwith the disease of addiction should read this book. It shares both sides of addiction, the loved one struggling to break through the chains of the disease of addiction & a mother whose strong love for her child is also helping destroy her child.
Sad.
