Invisible Iguanas of Illinois is a very very short story told by an eleven year old Springfield girl named Alyssa Barryton who while walking to her friends house comes upon an Iguana. Now as she explains these things aren't normally found in Illinois so she's certainly never seen one before and is quite terrified.
Not that chilling but rather interesting. A real page turner since the reader really wants to know what happens even when plan do no go according to plan.
A slightly scary story appropriate for elementary school. Magic invisibility powder turns two iguanas invisible and things only get worse from there.
