These are great books! My daughter loved this series and re-reads them all the time.
If you like horses you will love this series. My daughter has read all of them and just waiting for the new book to come out.
I rated it a 5 because she is an excellent writer for tweens. She contracted to do 8 books and they were so good that they asked her to do several more.
I think that five stars are really necessary for this book because Jessica Burkhart makes all of the characters have a lot of personality. I would recommend this book (and all of the Canterwood books) to middle school girls because they have horses, sparkles, lipgloss, drama, and boys.
I absolutely enjoyed reading this book because I was left with my mouth wide opened after I finished Masquerade. I look forward to the next book!!.
I love the Canterwood series. Lauren's a great narrator, with her humor, pickup lines, and thoughts.
This book picks up where the last book ended Taylor kissing LT what is going on there will old sparks trigger and push drew out of the picture or will Dren be In full bloom, their are many twist and turns in LTs life such as.. Well I'm not going to spoil it!
I really feel like the author missed some opportunities for some great drama in here. Lauren is waaaay too honest about things and kills drama before it even THINKS about budding.
This series was a childhood favorite of mine! Looking back, it's pretty terrible.
Frankly, I am quite disappointed in this series. Sasha's stories contained much more drama than Lauren's, and I am in this for the DRAMA.
