Watch out below! Here comes a giant snowball tumbling down a hill, picking up everything--and everybody--in its path!  Illustrated in full color.

About Jennifer Armstrong

Jennifer Armstrong learned to read and write in Switzerland, in a small school for English speaking children on the shores of Lake Zurich. The school library had no librarian and no catalog – just shelves of interesting books. She selected books on her own, read what she could, and made up the rest. It was perfect. As a result, she made her career choice – to become an author – in first grade.

Cute story that rhymes!.
Great for when your little one is learning to read!.
Worked out great. Read book to grandchild right after mother's day when we had snow.
Great book for beginning readers. Easy also because it rhymes which I think helps children learn to read words that would otherwise be more difficult to sound out.
Good book. I like the repetition.
I love the step one books, they are perfect for my 5 year old learning to read. There aren't too many words so they are great for very early readers.
I bought THE SNOWBALL because it was on my kindergartener's reading list for school. It's a fun, rhyming story about a runaway snowball.

I purchased these books for my 5-year-old daughter who is beginning to read on her own and these Step Into Reading books are excellent as they have a high-interest factor that motivates her to read. The stories are also wonderfully illustrated in full color.
This is a great little book for kids learning to read. The plot is hilarious and the colorful pictures make kids (and adults) giggle.
Our kindergartner enjoyed this book as he learned to read. Some of the words were challenging, but the lively illustrations and silly plot kept him entertained.
This book is great. The words rhyme as you read along which makes it fun to read for young children.
