Queens New York native Jay Williams is an international recording artist and award winning songwriter. He exploded to the top of the Billboard charts in 1990 with his signature anthem and social-conscious smash “SWEAT" on Big Beat/Atlantic Records. Jay began as a young background vocalist and R&B studio session singer for major R&B artists. Jay was soon discovered by music mogul Craig Kallman and producer Nelson Roman. Jay’s collective experience evolved in the launching of JW2 Entertainment Group in which he is currently songwriting, scoring soundtracks, co-writing a musical stage play, consulting, mentoring and developing new artists..
