The shame and sexual humiliation suffered by the this woman to protect her husband's political career teach her a lot about her inner harlot. But of course, in the end, hubby was never really worth the sacrifice.

Unfortunately this is not one of McKenna's better stories. It starts out with the bored, rich, neglected once beautiful "politician's wife" who is now ignored by her husband, son and even the cleaning lady.
While it's probably true that no woman would react the way Susan does in this book, I found it far more enjoyable if one simply suspends disbelief and lets the story carry you along. Not McKenna's best work, but I found the sex scenes to be erotic, exciting and highly readable.
