Nothing on the cover of this book or in the publisher's blurb indicates anything other than that it is a non-fiction biography. As another reviewer has noted, this is NOT a work of non-fiction, but rather something that should be categorized as historical fiction and clearly marked on the cover with something like "A NOVEL.
This is a very beautiful story. It seems to be a very spiritual narrative with less emphasis on historical specifics.
A friend recommended me to read Zoroaster a while back since I had become curious with many religions, cultures, and mythologies of the world. I chose this one to read (my friend did not give me any information on any specific book or author), but I was happy with this one.
I really don't know about intellectual Zoroastrianism, but my heart tells me that this is one of the best books that I have ever read.
Although might be a good start to get to know Zoroaster but is very superficial and might have a opposite effect on believers of the doctrine.
This book exists to decieve the buyer. It is a "channeled work of enlightenment" not an historically accurate work.
