Great read.
The last in a series that I really needed.
An excellent finish to a great trilogy. It is every bit as exciting as the previous two books.
I loved this whole series from beginning to end. There were many twists and turns, and I enjoyed the way things played out.
This is a great read, fast paced and thrilling. Any fan of science fiction should read this book.
This is the last volume of a three-part fantasy story set in a world where water is the most precious and scarce resource, and the population are entirely dependent on a small group of people born with special powers over water for their survival. None of these novels really stand on their own, they are three parts of one story which must be read in the right order and consists of 1) [[ASIN:B003CUDP8O The Last Stormlord (Stormlord 1)]] 2) [[ASIN:0316069140 Stormlord Rising]] 3) This book, "Stormlord's Exile".
I found the book to be a necessary read because I liked the first two books. I found myself putting the book down from time to time because it was really getting tedious.
Single sentence summary: Shale is responsible to bringing water to the Quartern but with Terelle fulfilling her grandfather's painting, he must figure out how to bring water to the Quartern and rule it at the same time. This is the third and final book in the Stormlord series.
This was a huge disappointment. I should have just read the first two and called it good.
I have loved every word of Glenda Larke's Watergivers trilogy! The characterization was excellent.
I have eagerly awaited this third and concluding book and was not disappointed. **TERRIBLE SPOILERS, DO NOT READ FURTHER** Sorry.
Glenda Larke has done it once again, written a superb finish to her excellent trilogy taking place in a waterless world. I have read everything she has ever written and have never yet been disappointed.
In Quartern, Shale has succeeded for now in save his people, but achieved the mission partly because Terelle secretly enhanced his skills with her foreign enigmatic magic (see The Stormlord Rising). However, his job is not done as he must supply the water needed by a parched people to survive.

I thought this book was great! It did seem like it ended open so I'm hoping there are more books to come in this world.
