This is the third time I have read Evelyn's book, but this time it is the subject of a Ladies' Bible Study. One can see the transformation as we weave our way between the lines and learn to pray honestly, and clearly.

Whoever is interested in learning to be more effective in their prayer life, particularly in small groups, but in churches as well, can be greatly helped by this book, written by a true prayer warrior. In my opinion, everybody who names the name of Christ had better be about some serious praying because we are in such a mess only God can do anything about it, and He works in answer to the prayers of His people.

This book has really opened my eyes to how prayer works and how to pray effective prayers. If you feel like you are praying and believing for God to work and don't see anything happening, this book is for you!
Very good study - our Mothers Bible Study is doing it now. It is very dated, which is off-putting, and takes a few chapters to really warm up, but once you get to the meat of it, there is a lot to be gleaned.
