One can never go wrong reading a Shadburn book. They are all carefully crafted, and as accurate as history will allow.
Don Shadburn has spent a lifetime combing Cherokee and Georgia historical records, which he has organized into a resource that will be treasured by Cherokee genealogist for generations to come. Most everything that has been written about Chrokee history is from the perspective of the Cherokee elite - typically mixed bloods who had the education and tenacity to get ahead.
This book answered many questions I had regarding my Cherokee ancestry. Should be rated at least 10 stars!
