Previous to reading this book I'd had some scripting experience (bash and perl), and knew no C++. This book has a very slow pace, and you don't write your own full program until your a decent way through the book.
I was looking for a book to give myself an intro to programming but this apparently is not the book of choice to do that yourself.
I used another book in this series and was very pleased with it so I was hopeful when using this book. Unfortunately, this book was very disappointing to me in several areas.
I ordered this product and received it promptly and as described. The product was in excellent condition and delivery was very speedy.
