Drug Store

Drugstore Camera feels like a stumbled-upon treasure, a disposable camera you forgot about and only just remembered to develop. Yet in this case the photographer is Dennis Hopper and the photographs, remarkably, are never before published.

About Dennis Hopper

Although mostly known as an actor and filmmaker, Hopper has also been an artist since the late 1950s; he is particularly known for his photographic portraits from the 1960s and his photographs of graffiti..

This was a gift to my son who is a free lance photographer. He loved the book.
The first time i heard Thelonious Monk i thought it was an 8 year old genius playing.. think i'll get the book.
Save your money. The photos could have been taken by a 8 year old.
I quite enjoy black & white film photography, and while the fidelity of the photos in this book is deliberately low, several of them strike me as being actually quite good. An interesting mix of landscapes and portraiture, with the feeling of a narrative throughout.
