THIS WAS A FAVORITE FROM YEARS BACK THAT WE WERE GLAD TO HAVE REPLACED FINALLY. MY KIDS LOVE THIS STORY AND THE RHYMING.
Love reading this book to my daughter, my preschoolers were able to pick up the rhymes and interact very quickly. I only wish I was able to find it in hardcover/board book.
I read this to my children, then my grandchildren. They all loved it!
Great set, my daughter loves it. she is a llama llama fan.
My son loved this story when he was little, and now his three year old daughter does, too! Great art work around the theme of the mother-child bond.
Fast arrival - as expected but not as pictured- confusing picture includes CD.Great children's book - my kids loved it when they were young.
I love this book and so does my daughter. The best part of the book is the part about Rhonda.
In this children's whimsical favorite, wide-eyed baby Llama tours from daylight to sunset, asking his animal-friends the repeated question, IS YOUR MAMA A LLAMA and gets a different rhymed riddle each time for him (and the young readers) to guess the answers. The visits to the bats, swans, cows, seals, kangaroos and his own kind constitute a whole heartwarming poem where different creatures with similar twinkling smiles gather together to celebrate the mother-baby bond.
My son received this book on his first birthday, and we've read it every night since. It was an instant favorite in our house - charming rhymes, interesting illustrations and a very cute story as the llama goes around asking all of his animal friends if their mamas are llamas.
Lloyd the llama asks his young friends of different species "Is your Mama a llama?" and gets cute rhyming responses that pose a riddle.
This book has been a great hit with our daughter. We bought it for her when she was less than a year old, and it continues to be a favorite at 16 months.
