There are a TON of challenges in the game of Black and White that will help you out a lot. I often got stuck on these, but this strategy guide helped me figure out how to solve the challenges and tells me what to expect later in the game!.
I liked it largely do to the help it gave on some of the harder miniquests in the game, though I was a little dissapointed with the fact that there was so little left in the game to do, though that was the programmers' fault and not this author's. Id have to say, this was one of the better strategy guides Ive purchased in a while.
Black & White: Prima's Official Strategy Guide by Dean Evans, is a great book, you can see every detail of the game here, you will know what to do, where to do and when. You will get info about everything, from villagers to wonders, disciples, creatures.
Save your money. This "guide" offers little more information than what is already provided in the instruction book and in the game itself (with all the help signs, etc.
This strategy guide is useful more for the every-now-and-then gamer than the hardcore one like myself. It has clean cut and usefully headed chapters on some aspects of the game and one chapter for each level, with brief help for every challenge you will encounter.
If Dean Evans (the author of this book) is a programmer for Lionhead Ltd., he should sue--he isn't credited in the manual...
I would strongly recommend this book to any person who is a serious player for this games. This book has helpped me out of tuff jams and complex stradegies.
This book was actually writen by one of the programmers of Black & White. I offers some hints (read: clues) as one might expect, but because of the nature of the game, they can't be very specific.
