Recipient loved it (age 4).
This is not the best children's book I've read, but it certainly gives you a lot of material to discuss. Numbers and counting, family members, size...
My boy was 22 mos when I bought this book. We bought it in the Fall to celebrate that season.
"All for Pie, Pie for All" fits in nicely with fall themes of apples (since the pie in the story is an apple pie) and Thanksgiving baking/cooking. It's a fun read-aloud with lots of repetitive, chant-like portions for children to join in on, which helps them to stay tuned in and engaged.
