This invaluable text was very helpful providing me a basis for and then actually practicing in Kampala, Uganda on a medical mission in 2012. While overall the information was useful, it has the usual flaw of most conventional medical textbooks, which is the willful ignorance of natural medicine and in particular what it has to offer people, particularly in Africa.
