This book is way, way too superficial. Essentially a re-hash of the very thin Jasper documentation.

I knew nothing about JasperReports when I bought this book. And within a couple of days I have a great looking PDF report :) This book is very well laid out.

Once we decided to replace our reporting tool with JasperReports we started to wander around the internet. This book helped us a lot to start real work with this wonderful tool for a short time.
