Good book but I am still hooked.
This is an excellent book - very informative about all aspects and easy to follow. Very inspiring - Quit sugar 3 weeks ago with my husband and doing really well.
Had never realized the dreadful consequences of fructose. This totally overwhelmed me and i immediately jumped right on the wagon.
Perhaps I'm too simplistic for the dietary world, but for me, the diets that have worked the best are the diets that have very few rules and very few complicated ingredients. David Gillespie's book is exactly that: simple, uncomplicated, and practical.
Well researched & deciphered into layman's language. His analogies make complex biochem reactions easy to understand.
VERY GOOD INFORMATION ON SUGAR - HOWEVER THERE ARE OTHER NUTRITION POINTS WHICH DON'T GELL WITH ME.WHY WOULD YOU ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO GO TO FAST FOOD OUTLEDTS USING TRANSFATS?.
After reading this book, it gave me the motivation to quit sugar for my health. It is a great synopsis on David's Sweet Poison book and if you are looking to quit sugar, this is a great book to start with.
This is a good read - probably would not rate well with diet people but I think there is some strong truth here!.
