Great information, Great pictures, but text is really small and book is heavy. But I'd still recommend it for it's information.
Bought the DK Eyewitness Travel Guide for my son, before his first international trip. He found a lot of the info very useful, with details about many sites.
Easy to follow and find the highlights in a city. The Kyoto flee market was a great find.
I find this book very difficult to use to plan my travel to Japan. Most important information including how to get from one city to the next is missing.
I was excited to see this guide's publication date was literally one day before I'd be leaving on my trip. With Amazon's great service, I was able to receive it in time on the day it was published.
