This was one of the most inspiring, challenging, and discipleship growth books I have read. The experiences shared and the thoughts and actions related to these experience were clarification of many questions I have had.
This is one of the best books I've read because it is so real. Chris Rice shares unvarnished stories about his friendships with others in the community of white and black in Jackson who sought to minister together to others and live out what it means to be the body of Christ.
This books keeps your attention just to see what happens with the bold project. You get to know the personalities fo the book too and that helps to keep you there - rooting for them.
This is simply a beautiful and well-written story of friendship. The vulnerability, honesty and humility in the stories make it a remarkable and inspirational work.
