My idol...The StigIf you love Stiggy, this is a great book.
This is the best description of what it is like to be in the driver's seat of a racecar that I have EVER read from any author/driver. It is also a hilarious look behind the scenes at what was the best motoring show on television.
Buy it used if you must, otherwise, not really worth your time or money. If you're expecting a behind the scenes look at TG, you'll be disappointed as he basically bounces back and forth from his time in the British Reserves and his racing / TG experiences.
Great book real good reading had a hard time putting it down.fast shipment ans well as a real good pric.
Even if I wasn’t a big fan of Top Gear, I would have LOVED this book. Knowing that it was written by The Stig made it even more captivating for me.
Not finished reading this yet but it's a great book. If you like Top Gear UK, you will like this book.
Great behind the scenes of Top Gear and life of an interesting guy.
A well-written, informative, honest and -sometimes funny- look at the man behind the helmet. I can't say it enough: I LOVE THIS BOOK!
An interesting read. Would recommend.
Shot in the BACK.
Very entertaining. As a fan of Top Gear, I enjoyed the stories from behind the scenes of episodes that I remember or have now gone back to view.
This book was absolutely terrific! I bought another copy and shipped it to my father for his birthday.
We found the book really interesting and a good read. Ben Collins seems to have an excellent way with words in describing his life and racing career.
If you have followed Top Gear UK through the seasons, then you know who The Stig is, and will enjoy this book. I have not finished it, but enjoying it so far, and will be telling my friends to read it.
If you are a Top Gear TV fan, or simply interested in reading about one racer's experiences, I think you will enjoy this book. You will also gain some insight into the presenters of Top Gear , how the shows were filmed, how serious preserving the anonymity of "The Stig" was, and other insider information in this well written autobiography.
