Why in the world doesn't this anthology at least include the word "American"? It makes no effort to include the vast array of environmental and ecological poetry from around the world; British and Irish poetry yield much the same results to any careful observer.

Probably against my better judgment I read this anthology, over the course of several months, front-to-back, cover-to-cover, blurbs-to-credits. I feel obliged to provide an account of findings -- whether it serves as an invitation or as a warning.
