Sheriff McCoy

outlaw legend of Hanoi Rocks

The last great rock 'n' roll memoir, Andy McCoy's autobiography covers the legendary guitarist's life and exploits from childhood through to the rekindling of his massively influential band, Hanoi Rocks, in the 2000s. McCoy helped introduce punk to Finland from an early age - and from their base in a Stockholm subway station, Hanoi Rocks embarked on a wild, death-defying, jet-setting thrill ride. Includes dozens of rare, candid photos and a new preface written by McCoy in 2009 after the final breakup of Hanoi Rocks.

Awesome. a good short read.
Love Hanoi Rocks so this was a great read, it was written poorly in some chapters but kind of expected from a rockstar lol. Just wish the book would've been longer...
Very happy with both the book AND the quality service/seller as well. A great read and a great experience as well.
You can get a little lost in the beginning because he doesn't follow a straight timeline but once you get used to it, it's really good. I've laughed and cried.
It doesnt really go in any direction....i find it a bit random..
Good history about Andy and Hanoi Rocks as there is not alot of background info on the band. The spoiler is that Andy reveals that Razzle had killed his best friend on the Isle of Wight by driving when he was drunk as a teenage, how ironic!!!
Great book. This history it's a rock n' roll tune itself.
I'm big Hanoi rocks fan every book about them is Finnish so imagine my happiness when I found out this was translated in English. Funny book, interesting stories the thing that bugged me was first he's talking about his childhood than to his Hanoi years than jumped after Hanoi than back to Hanoi.
The three stars come solely for my deep and lasting love of Hanoi Rocks. Along with Cheap Trick, they have been my favorite band almost as long as I can remember.
