Any poker player trying to make improvements to their game should read this. Howard Lederer's explanation on the concept of leverage alone makes this book worth the purchase.
I read this book, tried my luck at the tables, and lost a bunch of money over the years. And it wasn't just the money, it was also all of the time that I can never get back.
The Full Tilt Poker Strategy Guide: Tournament Edition is a must have for the serious poker player who intends to win a lot of tournaments. It was very informative and the strategies contained in it is simply not found in classic poker books such as Super System I and Super System II.
No limit poker is a tough addictive game. I have read this and other books on strategy but not always able to apply the knowledge.
I bought this back in 2007 and I see that it's still going strong. I've read this book from cover to cover and it has improved my tournament game exponentially.
In the realm of poker books, this one is pretty decent. It goes into more detail than many of the extremely vague poker books available.
First of all, I have to admit that this book have some value tips. In the end, Full Tilt is run on a NONRANDOM software.
The book is divided into many chapters, each one differs from the previous one in subject, and is written by another player. Therefore the content is all over the place.
This book covers different poker games and each chapter is written buy a different poker pro. I like getting one book and not only getting just one persons view on how things should be done.
I don't want anyone wasting their time reading this poker guide, especially if you play on full tilt. As most people know poker players are as honest as they come and I have to say this book is not worth your money.
This book contain good insights into Texas Holdem. I was impressed by the number of poker pros that contributed to the book.
One of three books that changed my game. If you play sit and goes or multis this will help you game and is one of the few I felt worth its weight in gold.
Very good book for decent players. Will probably only read half of the chapters.
You got the best guide to Tourment Poker. There is Holdem, Omaha and Stud Poker guide lines.
The best part of this really excellent book is that each of the players comes through as a unique individual talking about a different aspect of the game. Michael Craig was succeeded in tightly editing the book without losing the essential style of each of the players.
