I enjoyed reading this book. The author's experience as a counsellor comes through in her ability to demonstrate the lasting impact of childhood trauma on people in their adult lives and relationships.
I was intrigued by Andrea's venture into fiction with her book Stripped Down Running. The book is incredibly well done as a novel and as a case study of childhood shame played out in later life.
This novel was so engaging - I could not put it down. The easy narrative style drew me in almost immediately and I wanted to know what made this character tick.
