Has two daughters Rusty and Lauren.

Rock musician born in Manchester, England. Family moved to Australia in the 1950s. Had a major hit with his version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

With his group The Aztecs, he scored with the hit "Poison Ivy". The group disbanded in 1968 but Billy reformed the group with guitar legend Lobby Lyde. They had a major hit with the single "Most People I Know".

Hosted his own TV show "Its All Happening".

Moved to L.A. in 1976 and produced the rock opera "Children of the Sun" and performed as a studio musician for TV.

After forming the group Zoo with drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist Kenny Gradney , he toured solo until his death.
