António Ferreira was selected at the Cannes 2000 with the short film "Breathing . In 2011 staged his first play "The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant" from R.W. Fassbinder for the Portuguese National Theatre D. Maria II. In 2012 directs "Posfácio At The Clothing Factory" commissioned by Guimarães European Capital of Culture 2012, together with other directors such as J.L. Godard, Peter Greenaway, Manoel de Oliveira and others. António Ferreira is a founding member and part of the direction the APC Portuguese Academy of Cinema and APCA - Portuguese Film Producers Association and member of APACI - Director's Association of São Paulo - Brazil. Throughout his career, António Ferreira has directed 6 films and produced over 30. He has won 40 international prizes in over a 100 international film festivals.
